Support During Small
Group Time
As the year begins to get into full swing, we
wanted to introduce an important member of our reading team. There may be times
during the year that your child talks about working with Mrs. Gentry. We are so
pleased to have the ability to support our youngest learners on their journey
to becoming fantastic readers with her help.
Who: Mrs. Gentry – our ECC instructional aide
What: Supports classroom teachers during small
group instruction to reinforce reading skills for our youngest learners.
Where: Students meet with her at a station in the
hall
Why: To provide extra repetition and
reinforcement of the skills taught in the classroom
When: During center time and small group
instruction. Students meet daily with Mrs. Gentry in place of a center.
