Spelling List

We are starting a new unit today-Unit 1!  Each week, I will list the spelling words for the week on the blog.  The kiddos will be tested on Friday's.

Unit 1 Week 1 Spelling Words
1. dad
2. can
3. back
4. cat
5. at
6. ran
7. sack
8. mad
9.am
10. bat
11. way
12. come

Number 11 and 12 are sight words, which the kiddos can just memorize.  For numbers 1-10, kiddos should be able to sound the words out to write them.  At this point, you should be able to give our child any CVC (consonant, vowel, consonant) word and they should be able to write it.  (For example, bag, pig, pen, etc.)
